Spanish Real Coin Necklace
Treasure hunters, here's a necklace for you! This coin is NOT a replica, but was actually salvaged off the southeast coast of the United States. This 8 real portrait dollar from Mexico, stamped 1795 is in excellent condition, and is the perfect piece for the jewelry collector who is also a coin collector and history buff! Also: we did not drill the hole in which the bail is placed. Long ago, some people drilled small holes in their coins so that they could sew their money inside their clothing. While we do have a few other Spanish coins from sunken galleons, this is the only one we have in this condition!
DetailsThe coin (silver) is approx 1 1/2 inches wide, and with the bail, just over 1 3/4 inches long. 18 inch sterling silver oval link chain with trigger clasp.
