Little Crystal Bijoux is a lifestyle brand consisting of unique jewelry, original artwork and prints, and accessories, most of which are designed and made in-house, alongside a selection resale merchandise.  Located in the heart of the Historic Dundalk Town Center for a decade as a brick-and-mortar boutique, Little Crystal Bijoux has built a reputation for offering quality, affordable merchandise, custom work, fun, informative workshops, and excellent customer service.  Because of a strong guest-centered approach, Little Crystal Bijoux has cultivated a strong, supportive client base, and continue to grow based on positive reviews and referrals, in addition to working offsite conventions several times a year.   

 

About the job:

 

Sales Associate/Guest Services:

 

Regular Duties:

Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with and directing customers to merchandise within the store as well as the website, and providing outstanding customer service. Operating Square Terminal for all transactions, and balancing drawers. Excellent knowledge of products sold.  Achieving established sales goals. 

 

Occasionally:

Running various errands related to the business including, but not limited to:

-Making deposits at bank

-Picking up merchandise from local suppliers

-Taking online orders to the post office for shipping

-Delivering merchandise to local clients’ home and/or office

Minor cleaning

Polishing sterling silver merchandise

Tagging Merchandise

Ironing bag labels 

 

Bonus Skills:

Fluency in Spanish

Ability to effectively create interesting and meaningful content of social media.

 

Compensation:  

 

$15.00 hourly with commission starting at 3%, with a  potential to earn commission up to 10% for qualified candidates consistently reaching sales goals.  Commission is also available for referrals to sales on Little Crystal Bijoux’s website.

 

Hours:

 

Saturdays from 10:00 am - 4:00pm (regularly)

Ability to work Fridays 10:00 - 6:00 when offsite events are scheduled.

Potential for increased hours in the next six months
