In this seven and a half minute video, I will show you a basic stitch using Tunisian crochet (I'll post more tutorials later showing different stitch patterns). I am using a large hook for a couple of reasons: first, I find that using a larger hook is easier to learn Tunisian crochet, and, if you wanted to make a scarf or even a blanket, using a bulky yarn makes faster projects! In the next video of the series, I'll show you how to bind off to finish your project.
If you want to make a scarf using the tools in this tutorial, here is what you will need:
1 US size 13 (9mm) Tunisian crochet hook
Loops and Threads Bulky Yarn (6)
Work with a foundation of 20
(Chain 20)
