Light Green Nephrite Jade Bracelet

Nephrite jade is a metamorphic rock commonly found in newer as well as ancient subduction zones along serpentine deposits.  A 6 - 6.5 on the Mohs Scale, nephrite jade is a hard stone that will not break easily, but could scratch if treated roughly.  Jade has long been worn as a talisman to bring the wearer good luck, joy, and abundance, and is commonly a gift given at the beginning of the new year, as a wedding gift, and to new parents and babies.
